Katie takes referrals for fixed and removable prosthodontics.
Katie graduated from Bristol University with the Prosthodontics Prize, before spending a year in practice in Edinburgh in 2006. In 2008 Katie and her husband were volunteer dentists in rural Africa, travelling around the continent treating most the deprived areas. She then spent a year as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in The Royal United Hospital, Bath and Frenchay and Southmead Hospitals.
Later Katie worked with the Community Dental Service in Gwent, South Wales, treating the elderly and mentally ill, children, and patients with special needs.
She has completed a four year Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics with distinction from Kings College London. She was awarded the prestigious Henry Schein Leadership Scholarship during her studies. She has subsequently been invited back to teach and assess current and future students on this degree.
Katie is particularly interested in the treatment of tooth wear, full mouth rehabilitation, aesthetically compromised cases, direct composite bonding, and minimal preparation techniques as well as construction of complex fixed and removable prostheses.
